According to reports, the crime of fighting between locals and holiday revellers dropped in this year to it's lowest ever. The local council has said that the improved presence of both the local police and the Mossos d'Esqaudra in the town helped Empuriabrava improve on it's somewhat violent past few years.The area of Los Arcos saw the largest improvement, this being dow to the CCTV and larger presence of the police as stated before.
