Here is a quick cut at geocoding today's House vote on the TARP plan. The map on the left locates the "Yea" votes by state, while the map on the right locates the "No"votes by state. Somewhat surprisingly, at least to me, there is no real pattern to be seen. Both "Yea" and "Nay" voters were to be seen across the country -- it was not as obviously a red/blue state thing, nor a coast/fly-over phenomenon.
