Did you know that 3 major human STDs have come from animals?
Discover Magazine reports that, according to Alonso Aguirre (Vice President for Conservation Medicine at Wildlife Trust):
Gonorrhea came from cattle
Syphilis came from cattle or sheep many centuries ago possibly even sexually (ek!)
HIV came from the blood of chimpanzees
And as it turns out, STDs are just as common in the animal kingdom as it is with humans. Thats right my friends, Mother Nature kicked ALL living and breathing thing....
