Penn State defensive end Jerome Hayes (Bayonne, N.J.) will miss the remainder of the 2008 season after suffering a serious knee injury in Saturday's 45-14 victory over Oregon State. A redshirt junior, Hayes tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during a play in the fourth quarter, according to Dr. Wayne Sebastianelli, Penn State Director of Athletic Medicine.
