Ike begins to hit Bahamas island, heads toward Cuba

Hurricane Ike's outer bands moved over the Bahamas' Great Inagua Island on Sunday, carrying high winds and heavy rain as the Category 4 storm surged toward eastern Cuba, forecasters said.
