A small impact security hole in a Facebook design that released the members birthdates to the public during a test run reminded me how weve entered a different age with the Internet.
Im surprised by the amount of personal information people leave on these sites. If theyre willing to leave personal information on a public web space, how hard would it be for a malicious party to pry more valuable information (bank accounts or from an HR perspective - confidential employer-held information) either....
