Mobile network bandwidth is increasing quickly, with some operators supporting 14.4Mbps transmission using HSPA (High-Speed Packet Access). But users wont be able to take advantage of the higher speeds for a while. For one thing, modems are still a no-show. The current top speed for modems is 7.2Mbps.
