CNN – Nov 2 – Research shows that a
growing number of children are using social networking sites. In two
surveys released this year by Pew Internet Research, 38% of
respondents ages 12 to 14 claim to have an online profile, while 61%
of kids ages 12 to 17 said they use social networks; 42% of them
daily. Many young users lie about their age in order to access social
network sites such as Facebook and MySpace, though there are a
growing number of alternatives designed exclusively ....
