I'm a landlord that recently terminated a lease. The tenant broke the lease by getting a dog, which resulted in damage to the both the interior and exterior of the property. Surprisingly, the tenant still used me as a reference. I told the person performing the tenant screening about their tenancy and lease violation, but I'm not sure how much information I should or should not provide. Any advise, suggestions, guidelines would be greatly appreciated.
