Resul pookutty was little known untill his name was nominated for the oscars and after winning the oscars he is a hero back home. He also won the Bafta and has won Zee film awards in 2004.
Resul was the sound designer for Gajini and saawariya. He hails from Kollam, Kerala.
Interestingly i find articles which tried to define the word pookutty. One paper defined the word as Flower Kid and another said Pookutty means dead drunk! The word pookutty will be quite normal for a keralite and i never tho....
