Back in 2000 I was spinning New Found Glorys self-titled record at a rate of maybe 2-3 times a day. As Ive grown up Ive kinda fallen out of love with the pop-punk genre that kinda brought me into music in the first place. Ive changed, music has changed, pop-punk has changed. Once innocent guitar pop, it turned into a subculture of eyeliner and the emo tag that everyone carved for it.
