We went to the Santa Fe Children’s Museum for Solstice again this year. It was a lot of fun. They had Pasole, Tamales and Smores. The kids walked the Labyrinth made of luminaries. The story lady was there again in the tent. The kids had a great time.
This year we got there early enough to see them releases the Faroitos into the night Sky. Basically they are a fire kite. They are made of tissue paper with a candle inside. The candle heats up the air inside and they rise like a hot air balloo....
