John Mapes and Ian Grom are the “dynamic duo” behind the success of many of Southern California's top A, Open and World Class ensembles. Altogether, the groups that they have designed and taught for have been medallists at the WGI Championships SIX times since 2005. Mapes and Grom have recently co-founded BOX-SIX.COM, an exclusive seller of their originally designed indoor percussion shows, in an effort to provide instructors and band directors with a high quality product that has proven to be successful.
