Kim's Midsummer Special

SURPRISE! This episode of the Many Freaks Show was done by one of my very best friends, Kim, who has done a special before and filled in for me when I was having a mic crisis. Because of the Midsummer celebration, Kim decided to do another special. Due to the fact there has not yet been a regular MFS episode this week, a regular episode will be posted on Monday, so make sure you send in your questions and requests! Without further adieu, here is Kim's Midsummer special. Hope ya'll'll enjoy this episode, which was brought to you by Jägermeißter and Carlsberg and that you really listen to the entire show because there's some really funky music in it! The theme for the episode is "music that I kick back to after a hard week of work" In the background when I talk: "Together Always", from the SNES game Secret of Mana. First song: "Fear of the Heavens", theme song from Secret of Mana. Second song: Remix called "Metalman goes clubbing" of Metal Man stage song from the NES game Mega Man 2. Found on OCRemixes at http://www.ocremix.org/ Third song: "The Moon and the Prince" from the weird and wonderful PS2 game Katamari Damacy. Fourth song: "Fever" from the classic Game Boy game Dr. Mario. Fifth song: Another OCRemix. This time a big band jazz version of the Super Mario 2 theme called "SuperBuckJazz". Sixth song: Great Japanese-Korean hiphop/rap song called "CANNON pt1" by RUI-CRISIS found on the excellent Japanese podcast Pureiyaazu Oukoku, song: Another song from Pureiyaazy Oukoku. This time a genki thing called "Fight it out" by hicalculator. Eigth song: "Ride on technology" by renownd anime composer Yoko Kanno from the really great series Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex. Go see it ya'll. Ninth song: This is clearly the oddest of the songs today. Two brothers by the name of Yoshida are geniuses on the Japanese string instrument shamisen and this is the first song on their album MOVE, called "Ayumi". http://www.yoshidabrothers.com/ Tenth song: The battle music from the PS2 game Final Fantasy X. And while I hate the game I really like this song. Eleventh song: "Ensam gud" (Sole god) by the disbanded Swedish metal band LOK. Information -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maypole
