Execution Does Not Make Eating Safe In China
China has executed a dangerous man. A Chinese court found him responsible for approving drugs that were never responsibly tested. Those drugs may have been the cause of countless deaths and other tragic consequences.
Hes dead, but is the danger gone?
Most likely not. China has exported poisoned toothpaste and cough medicine. Its exported cat food ingredients have killed cats in North America.
Is the danger only in Chinas exports? Not a chance.
We now have reports that common street food in China is riddled with essential cardboard and chemical flavoring. A broadcast report recently aired on China Central Television revealed the danger in domestic food safety.
Evidently, illegal operations across China cut costs by adding paper type filler to food and other dangerous chemical additives that add no nutritional value and, in many cases, are actually harmful to ingest.
